This will work for a short while, but as soon as you slide off of this you will gain back your weight and maybe even more. The best diet is one that supplies your body with all the nutrients and minerals it craves. When your body is fueled up on vitamins and minerals, you will have less cravings for snacks. This in turn will help keep your calorie count down with minimal stress. Keeping your stress level down can be a great advantage. People with high stress levels tend to eat more junk food.
Two important substances that should be in you diet are Fiber and Water. Fiber slows digestion and makes you feel fuller longer. This will help you stay away from snacks and stay on track.
Water is the most important substance of any diet. Drinking plenty of water will keep you away from the snacks and pop. Lots of times when people feel hungry they are just dehydrated. Plenty of water will keep your kidneys operating at a good clip and your liver will be allowed to do its job of metabolizing stored fat for energy.
There are hundreds of fitness programs to be had. Aerobic exercises such as treadmills and stair climbers are not the answer. You will only burn a limited amount of fat reserves. You will see some improvement in the beginning, but as time goes on, your body will adjust to these conditions and store more fat between work outs to cover the next session. This is called making your body efficient.
The most efficient way to raise your body's metabolism to lose fat and become fit is through Resistance Training. This is a form of strength training which elastic or hydraulic resistance is used in most cases. There are various types of exercise equipment and resistance bands that can be used.
The proper Resistance training program will cover a full body work out. This program will start to build new lean muscle and burn fat right away. Resistance Training is the most efficient form of exercise because it burns carbohydrates instead of fat reserves. This keeps the body using up fat reserves to replace the carbohydrates long after the exercise session is done. Using the Resistance training method also means you don't have spend as much time working out, or as many days a week doing it.
