Weight Loss Sports

Sports have long been one of the best forms of weight loss. In fact, sports are one of the reason that many young people can have decent physiques despite horrible diets. Sports, however, are an effective weight loss method for people of all ages. Here I list three sports that work particularly well for losing weight.
1. Basketball: The constant running involved in a game of basketball is a powerful cardiovascular workout. That, combined with the coordination and hustle required to score baskets makes basketball a powerful weight loss workout. Full court basketball is better than half court for this purpose, but if half court is all you can get by all means do that.
2. Soccer: Another sport with a massive amount of running. Although not nearly as popular in the United States as it is in most of the world, there are still an abundance of soccer fields in the United States for people to enjoy. One problem with soccer is that it requires more people than basketball, but despite that drawback you are unlikely to find a better cardio workout. See if there is an amateur soccer league in your area you can join.
3. Tennis: Another sport with (no surprise here) a lot of running! Tennis is very accessible sport, as you only need 2 people and a court to play. Most towns have public tennis courts, and most require no reservation. Make sure to play aggressively if your goal is weight loss.
