The Top 3 Ways To Eat Your Favorite Foods And STILL Lose Weight Fast And Consistently!

In order to lose weight fast and consistently, there are only 2 words you need to know in order to get amazing results. Those 2 words are nutrition and natural. Natural methods for losing weight and body fat and getting 100% proper nutrition is by far the greatest things you can do to get the body of your dreams... period. That's really all it comes down to.
That being said, one of the biggest issues people have when they get started with dieting is that they end up having a hard time doing away with their favorite foods. Is this something you are dealing with? If so, then I have for you in this article here 3 simple ways you can eat your favorite foods and STILL lose weight fast and consistently!
First off, before I talk about those 3 ways to eat your favorite foods and still drop pounds, I just wanted to talk about something. My friend, depriving yourself is a surefire way to lose motivation and end up giving up on your goals. I strongly recommend that you avoid following those "diet tips" claiming that you have to give up your favorite foods entirely. Doing so will certainly make it difficult for you to stick to your new healthy lifestyle. Here are 3 things you can do...
1. Make alternatives... Instead of eating the actual bad food, you can always opt for the alternative. For example, instead of sugary apple pie, you can make your own healthier version using whole wheat pie crust, naturally sweetened filling (such as with Stevia), and fresh organic apples.
2. Eat smaller portions... As obvious as this sounds, many people still find this to be difficult. It is VERY hard to have just a tiny portion of let's say... a chocolate bar! However, if you just do this for a little while, you will actually get used to only having smaller portions of your favorite foods, and then ultimately, you will end up not even craving these foods anymore!
3. Use your favorite foods as a reward... Instead of chowing down on your favorite foods whenever you want, why not use these foods as rewards for accomplishing a weight loss goal? For example, let's say that you managed to go to the gym for 5 days this week. On the fifth day, you can reward yourself with having a small piece of cake and a small bowl of ice cream for example. This will help you mentally in that you will feel as though bad foods need to be earned... and more importantly, you will ultimately see that bad foods are certainly not something that should be earned... and that's because they're bad!
Bottom line, never deprive yourself. I recommend you do those things above so that you can get to the point where you just stop craving those bad foods all together. Trust me, as hard as it may seem, in just a little bit of time from now (as long as you stay consistent with a good natural diet program), you'll actually begin to feel disgusted when you see, think about, or smell bad foods!

Important Weight Loss Foods for Proper Dieting

So what are weight loss foods? We have all heard the expression, "you are what you eat". Whether it's pork chops, fried chicken, potatoes, cheese cake or chocolate, your body will respond based on how you are feeding it. It's not a bad thing to enjoy the foods you eat, but moderation is the key. You can still enjoy food on a diet, you just need to know there are some foods that when eaten help you lose weight and others that you want to avoid as they will cause you to gain unnecessary pounds.
Cold or chilled soups are great alternatives for low calorie dishes. They can include gazpacho or cucumber-dill, which are typically rich with plenty of vitamin rich vegetables. Consuming low-calorie soups prior to a meal is an excellent method to reduce overeating foods that tend to cause you to put on extra pounds. Also several health researchers confirm that having a type of low-calorie broth-based soup can actually provide you with a sense of fullness.
There is no single food that serves as the perfect diet food no matter how much hype you read in magazines or see over the Internet or on TV. However, if you know the difference between which foods promote losing weight and which contribute to weight gain, you've already got a good head start on achieving the ideal weight you desire.
Carrots are great weight loss foods due to its low calorie but high nutritional content (such as vitamins A, C, beta carotene and fiber). Because of its abundant fiber, it fills you up easily, preventing you from heaping on excess calories.Carrots are even more nutritious when cooked, but not over cooked. When consuming raw carrots the cellular walls are tough and harder on your digestive system. Steaming vegetables will maintain the nutrition, but aid in digestion. This enables your body to convert more beta carotene into vitamin A. Alternatively, you can blend carrots into juices with other fruits or vegetables.
You have to distinguish what can be considered "super" foods which are a must for a healthy weight loss diet. For some dieters, adding these weight loss foods to their daily diet can provide quick weight loss that they need. They prefer this because they feel so restricted on other formal diet plans being offered in the market.
As experts suggest we need to drink at least two to three liters of water each day. But this can be hard to maintain on a consistent basis if you are not used to drinking that much water. An alternative to add food items with a high water content, but fewer calories. These types of foods help to fulfill our water intake and with fewer calories being eaten, our bodies begin to lose those extra pounds while the water helps to flush out toxins which speeds up the weight loss process even faster.
Specific foods aimed specifically at rapid weight loss are ones that speed up your metabolism. These are the kinds of foods that are rich in protein such as chicken, fish, meat and eggs. Caffeine and other weight loss accelerators can speed up your body to make you lose weight. HOWEVER, these adding fat burning pills and accelerators can cause problems and be damaging to your health.. Foods like citrus fruits, soybeans, fresh fruits, garlic, cayenne pepper and olive oil are much better alternatives than artificial accelerators.
The best weight loss program is difficult to describe, but if you stick with good advice on a consistent basis, you are doing it right! To conquer weight loss, all you need to do is STOP eating the foods that contribute to weight gain (simple carbohydrates) and start eating foods that are lower in calories and higher in nutrition (protein and complex carbohydrates). Also, eating nutritious foods and getting enough water will make you feel better and also improve your overall mental health and mood. This will up your motivation to stick with a healthy weight loss diet and continue to see the weight come off over time. Add a regular exercise regimen to that and be patient...you will reach your weight loss goal!

List of Foods for Weight Loss

Gaining weight means that you are consuming more calories than you can burn in a day. This is in addition to eating more carbohydrates than you require. If you seriously want to lose weight, then you need to think about replacing refined processed carbohydrates with fat burning foods and enjoy their thermic effect. Beware that refined carbohydrates are major causes of obesity, insulin resistant, unwanted weight gain as well as other diseases related to dietary intakes. If unsure of what fat burning foods are, the following is a list of fat burner foods for weight loss.
1. Proteins are a very important type of food for weight loss. Its quality in your diet influences your metabolic rate hence favorably helping you lose weight. In addition to this it sustains your muscles as well as influences muscle fitness during weight loss. Beef meat is the most favorite type of protein for many people. However, it is higher in fat compared to other types of meat and hence should be eaten in moderation. If you really want to lose some pounds, the best types of meat proteins to eat include white meat (poultry) and fish meat.
2. Foods rich in fiber are also very effective when one is trying to lose weight. This is because they help you in keeping your colon clean hence keeping food moving faster along. If you are serious about losing some pounds, the following suggestions will work perfectly for you. Vegetable are highly rich in fiber some of the prime examples of vegetables include cauliflower, celery, zucchini among others. If eating vegetables night in night out is boring try shaking them a bit by stuffing them with pepper or making them into casserole. You can also enjoy them in form of vegetable salads.
3. Fruits are also an important part of the diet for a person who is serious about shedding some pounds. This is because they are also rich in fiber as well as most of them contain very little amounts of calories. Some of the best types of fruits to eat while trying to lose weight include apples, strawberries and oranges. If you choose to eat oranges avoid peeling all the white membrane off since it contains the highest fiber content. Apples on the other hand have high water content and contain both soluble and insoluble fibers while strawberries are very low in carbohydrates.
4. Cereals are also an important and very healthy diet for a person intending to drop some few pounds. High fiber cereals are the most preferable ones since they are bulky and hence fill you up on very minimal level of calories. Cereal based foods such as roasted corn, chapattis, white rice upmas, dhokla among others are a perfect choice. Cereal based foods for your breakfast can include oats, low sugar corn flakes and poha just to mention a few.
5. Last but not least, water, especially ice water, is a very important part of the diet for an overweight person looking forward to shedding off some weight. Taking ice water lowers your body temperature hence the body must compensate for this by burning more fats (calories) to keep it warm. This is in addition to that it has no calories and speeds up the late of digestion hence more calories are burnt. It is also good for filling you up hence reducing the need to eat more and creating an opportunity for more calories in your body. If you are not comfortable taking it plainly you can make t into soup and it will still serve its role in our weight loss strategy.

Six Top Foods for Weight Loss: Eat These and Slim Down Without Dieting!

If you were asked, could you name the top six foods for weight loss? I'm sure you'd be able to name off some of them, but if you'd like to lose weight without dieting, you'll want to read my list to find out for sure! I created it only after I lost weight myself, by following this same list. Read on to learn these easy secrets!
Here's how the list was born. Rich and I were in Mexico and decided to lose weight together. But we had a problem. You see, we were heading back to the U.S. and traveling for 30 days. This meant that and we wouldn't have time to focus on our diet. Yet, we wanted to lose weight - and certainly didn't want to fall into the "travel-weight-gain" rut while eating with family and friends. (in other words, we wanted our cake and eat it too!)
So before we left, we decided to concentrate on the foods we'd been eating, which were helping us lose weight already. And guess what? A month later, we each weigh about 8 pounds lighter...all while enjoying good times visiting, traveling and dining out. We were so surprised, since this has never happened before.
Now I'd like to share these Top 6 Foods for Weight Loss with you!
Six Top Foods for Weight Loss:
Okay, technically these are groups or categories of foods, but here goes!
Food #1 - Veggies, veggies, veggies!! During that month, our diet consisted of 50% veggies. We ate onions, peppers, fresh pico de gallo, hot peppers, garlic, broccoli, squash, sweet potatoes, avocados, salads, and so on.
We'd bake a potato or sweet potato and top it off with a veggie stir fry, then adding salsa and a dash of unsweetened Greek yogurt in place of sour cream. It was delicious, and paired with fish, making a great meal!
Food #2 - Juice: Stay away from most processed veggie juices, as well as sweet fruit juices. Instead, drink pure, fresh carrot juice! If you don't want to make it yourself, you can buy a jug of 100% Odwalla carrot juice, which is fresher than most processed juice.
For lunch I'd blend up some fresh spinach, carrot juice, hemp protein, and a bit of unsweetened almond milk for a tasty lunch drink. We'd try and have juice for lunch or breakfast 5-7 times a week.
Food #3 - Lentils and beans: We ate lentils and beans instead of grains. They're all 'slow carbs', meaning they don't spike your insulin levels- so your liver doesn't store your meals as fat. You can top lentils off with salsa, too. Get creative with your lentils and beans. Make a 3-bean salad, or a lentil soup - adding veggie broth, a few carrots and celery.
Food #4 - Clean proteins such as fish and eggs: Wild caught fish is great for you, as it provides an excellent source of Omega 3 oils, as well as a clean protein that's easy to digest and use for fuel. We simply pan fried a white fish in oil, garlic, onion and hot peppers. Or, for a change we'd fry our white fish in coconut oil, adding coconut flakes, ginger and almond slivers. We also ate a few organic eggs every morning - with lentils, beans and a helping of salsa or a touch of freshly-made guacamole. Rich eats some meats, but tried to limit them to 2-3 times a week, as they're full of antibiotics and hormones.
Food #5 - Healthy Fats: I mentioned the coconut oil a moment ago. We use it because it has a higher flash point, which means it's better for cooking over hot heat as it doesn't turn rancid like olive oil does. It's high in saturated fat, but unlike most other saturated fats, it's processed differently in the body, so used in moderation, is an excellent choice.
My favorite cooking oil is macadamia nut oil, which is low in saturated fats AND has a high flash point! For salads and cold dishes, olive oil is still my top choice. Raw almond butter on celery or raw almonds are an excellent snack in moderation, too.
Food #6 - Healthy seasonings and condiments: I used to prepare my food with plenty of salt, pepper, margarine and mayo. During my stint living in Mexico I adjusted my taste buds for the better. The seasonings we used instead were cayenne pepper, cilantro, rosemary, mustard seed, dill and other herbs, red pepper flakes, fresh ground black pepper, chili-lime seasoning, cumin, and a dash of sea salt.
Other condiments included fresh pico de gallo, salsa, guacamole, Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, Greek yogurt, and an occasional dab of organic butter.
About 80% of our diet focused around these foods. So what else did we eat?
As with many things in life, the 80/20 rule worked for us!...
The other 20% consisted of beverages such as coffee (2 cups a day with creamer and stevia - no sugar), and about 3-6 beers per week -since it was hot in Mexico! Other foods included a few bananas and a little pineapple or berries, 3-4 ice cream bars per week, a couple of small chocolate bars, 4-6 corn tortillas (no wheat), a little deep fat fried fish (in our fish tacos), a little chipotle sauce, and one or two fast food meals like pizza, soda and fries!
How did we eat these foods and still lose weight?
Here are a few rules we followed:
Limiting sugar! We consumed no more than 30 grams of sugar per day- and ate it at one sitting, rather than eating sugar throughout the day. (30 grams equates to an ice cream bar or small chocolate bar). This helps avoid insulin spikes while eating meals. Now, it's not easy, since you have no sugar in your coffee and you don't eat many processed foods. We also limited fruits some because of the fructose, another form of sugar. This one guideline really helps you lose weight the most!
Limiting processed grains: While not as bad at producing insulin spikes, processed grains do add fat to your belly. This is partly because of the gluten they contain (think paste). Rice and corn doesn't have gluten, so those were our choices most often when we did eat. Breads made with sprouted grains are another good choice.
Eliminating most dairy: Consistent dairy consumption fattens you up, just like the baby cows. I made an exception with my creamer in my morning coffee - and with a little Greek Yogurt or occasional feta cheese. Salsa and pico does wonders for replacing cheese on many dishes.
That's it! We're happy to continue eating this way now, too. All told, Rich has lost 30 pounds in 4 months, I've lost 25 pounds, and we've never felt better!
Eating these foods tastes great, provides variety, feels good in your body - and you'll lose weight, too...simply by focusing on these top six foods for weight loss.
